Chichen Itza is not far from Cancun. There are ruins in Chichen Itza of a very old Mayan city. In the center of the city, there is a pyramid, Kulkulcan. It is very big, and has many stairs.
The is land of Cozumel is near Cancun. There are white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Cozumel is a paradise for visitor.
